Building Update
BUILDING UPDATE Ground breaking for our new building was on Sunday April 19, 2009 and construction is underway. We Have Walls
The building is underway with the framing of the exterior and interior walls. The goal is to be by Christmas “09! Though as in any building there are many variables outside of our control, weather, material, permits, etc. Dirk Gunderson our general contractor will provide us with a time-table after the building is under roof.
On 9/11/05 our building was devastated by a fire that forced us to moveour ministry operations to a variety of locations: worship in schools, offices in trailers, classes in area churches and schools, etc. Through this process we have continued to serve Jesus in our community. Along the way there have been heartaches and grave disappointments: Christmas in a grade school gym, trying to remember whereworship, classes or meetings are held. There also have been times ofgreat Joy and experiencing God's Grace: a meaningful worship theafternoon of the fire, people coming together for worship and ministry, raising $750,000 in our capital campaign.
