Capital Campaign Update We continue to receive outstanding support from everyone near and far. Please see the following letter from former pastor Paul Benson: Dear St. Andrew Friends: Enclosed is our check for the building fund for 2007. Keep up the good work and great fellowship you have at St. Andrew! Terry and I are fine, and keep very busy. I am beginning my 6th month as the Interim Pastor at Faith Lutheran Church in Yuma, AZ. I know the summer will be warm, but I do prefer the heat to the cold we remember in Illinois. My sister in Des Moines died about six weeks ago, and we arrived in Des Moines in the midst of a blizzard. We were glad after ten days in the cold to get back to the “valley of the sun.” Our Lent and Easter experiences have been very fine, and we have made many new friends, and then many of them have said “goodbye” as they return to the northern states and Canada. We see Ann Christensen and her daughters, Gail and Chris, periodically and we also see Larry and Barb Christiansen. We remember many good friends and good times in West Chicago.
